Great entertainment and great causes are a theme at Harborwalk Village this month of November.  Starting this weekend on the 9th you can enjoy Blues, Brews and BBQ and help support the FRLA Educational Foundation. Then mark your calendar for cars, art, and a taco festival. Help support the Wounded Warrior Project, Others Inc. and the Salvation Army.

Blues, Brews and BBQ

November 9, 2013 | 11:00 AM- 4:00 PM

Blues, Brews and BBQ on November 9th at Harborwalk Village is being sponsored by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association’s Northwest Florida and will benefit the FRLA Educational Foundation. Local restaurants are firing up their grills for this fund raiser. There will be a craft beer tasting and creative BBQ contest. The Blues will be provided by The Blenders, The Modern Eldorados, and Season Ammons Band. Support the next generation of hospitality professionals and have a great time at it!

The Blenders

Cars and Coffee

November 10, 2013 | Time 11:00 AM-11:00 PM

Porsche of Destin is hosting a car show at Harborwalk Village with all proceeds to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. WWP honors and helps empower Wounded Warriors who incurred a physical or mental injury, illnesses, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001. Family members or caregivers of a Wounded Warrior may be eligible for the program. Come on out to Cars and Coffee and view a show case of specialty cars by car enthusiasts. Enjoy beverages, food and live entertainment.

ARTWalk on the Harbor

November 17 | 11:00 AM  –  4:00 PM

Artwork, a silent auction and a canned food drive will be held on November 17th. Proceeds will benefit Others Inc., a non-profit organization of the United Methodist Church of Destin. View and purchase a wide range of local artwork while you enjoy the harbor activity. Get ready for Christmas by stopping by the gift wrap for donation table at the Destin Boardwalk booth.

Crab Island Catina’s “Tequila and Taco Fest”

November 23, 2013 | Time: 5:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Enjoy Tacos and help support the Salvation Army. Crab Island Cantina is hosting their 1st Annual Tequila and Taco Fest on November 23rd. Come and sample a wide variety of tacos, sauces, and tequilas. Bid in the silent auction while listening to great live entertainment.  The Salvation Army has been a great cause since 1865 and is known for being one of the largest distributors of humanitarian aid.  Tickets for purchase are available at both Crab Island Cantina and Pepito’s Restaurant.
